Superintendent's Welcome

Welcome to the Machias Bay Area School System website. In 2010 the Machias Bay Area Schools entrusted me, Scott Porter to carry out the vision of parents and concerned citizens to move all area students forward to receive a quality education and enriching experience within the A.O.S. 96 schools. It is my pleasure to serve these communities and ensure that this happens while guiding the schools and teachers. With great communication and mutual support we have been successful working together to move our schools and students forward in the best possible way.
